Based in the North West of England this audiology department is looking for a motivated Audiological Scientist who enjoys working as part of a friendly team of all disciplines.  We are a regional BAHA (Bone Anchored Hearing Aid) Centre and offer full diagnostic audio-vestibular and rehabilitation services for both adults and paediatrics. The job is to include predominantly the care of adult and paediatric patients with hearing loss, formulating individualised care plans for adults diagnosed with a hearing loss, working within in/out patients, acute, community Audiology and domiciliary environments.

Senior Audiologist

£28,924 to £38,591 per annum
An opportunity has arisen to join a team of audiologists who provide Audiology services on 2 sites. The department provides adult and paediatric services. We have close links with a strong ENT and Audiological Medicine department. We are a student placement centre and are affiliated to the a School of Audiology in London. There are several opportunities to become involved in practical training.
You will have a BSc in Audiology or BAAT parts 1&2, BTEC in MPPM & must have voluntary registration with RCCP in preparation for State Registration with HPC. Post graduate students may be considered at a lower grade, with the opportunity to develop.

Specialist Audiologist

£27,718 to £36,809 per annum
We are looking for a Specialist Audiologist with excellent all round skills and experience working within acute adult and paediatric settings. The responsibilities of this Band 6 post will include assessment and rehabilitation support for local adult and paediatric populations.
Our department consists of a friendly, multi-disciplinary team who offer a full range of specialist level Audiological services including an audiologist-led paediatric service. Experience working at a high level of autonomy is therefore essential.
In order to be considered for this post you should be registered with (or eligible to be registered with) the RCCP and be eligible to work in the U.K. (i.e Working holiday Visa, EU passport). Support will be given to ensure that the successful candidate continues their professional development.


£20,225 – £26,123
Band 5
This Audiology Department is looking to recruit a dynamic, forward thinking, motivated Audiologist to join their excellent team.
As a Band 5 Audiologist you will be expected to work using your own initiative selecting, verifying and fitting a range of NHS hearing aids and also undertake a full range of diagnostic audiological tests.
We can offer you the opportunity to develop clinical audiologist skills as the department provides a comprehensive range of audiological services.

Finding that next locum audiology position is not always easy, however we are there to help and there are options available.

Your CV / Résumé
First of all I will need an up to date CV. Almost as important will be a reverence letter of your most recent employer.  For guidance on the CV format we prefer please email me.
In short, the most important part of your CV is the experience section. More often than not we ask Audiologists for more info on their experience. So please do not hold back when you tell us about your experience. Especially the technology used and also do include the different equipment and hearing aid brand names in your CV.

Location and type of vacancies
Finding that next position in your preferred location… This is possibly the biggest challenge since it is not always possible to get an audiology job on your doorstep. However we do our best to accommodate you and utilize our database for all potential vacancies. These may include:

Cochlear Implant Locum Audiologist Job

Do you have experience in Cochlear Implants? Here is a fabulous opportunity to work as a locum Audiologist, part of the Adult Cochlear Implant Program and at the Children Cochlear Implant Program teams.

Please note this position is only available if you do have experience in working in a Cochlear Implant team. However if you would like to get your foot in the door in this specialised area please let me know as well.

I cannot say you need UK experience in cochlear implants but this will be seen as an added benefit.
